HOP Festival Rotterdam is back for an 8th edition! A unique festival organized by Rotterdammers for Rotterdammers! Like last year, it will be held at the new location in Rotterdam West at Heemraadsplein on August 16 & 17.
The main focus is good beer, but there is also music, food and games. Several of the participating breweries have been there since the first edition in 2015 and some are new, but all are bringing their best beers.

My first time was in 2016 with Rotterdam beer club and we had a blast! Back then they also invited two local homebrewers each edition, which alas is no longer part of the program. In 2018 I had a great time pouring beers for Four Islands. That was not the only thing that was pouring! But visitors stuck it out with their ponchos and it turned out to be a great day nonetheless! HOP took a mandatory break during Covid, but came back in full swing in 2022 at the old location Wijkpark Oude Westen on West-Kruiskade. Last year they moved the festival to Heemraadsplein where it will be held again this year. Hope to see you there!

Opening hours: Friday 4 – 11 pm and Saturday 3 – 11 pm

Card only, no cash. Pay for your beers as you go. There are no tokens this year and tokens from previous editions are not valid.
